Black and white street photography is a genre I truly love; it's a style as ancient as it is beautiful, a poetic language.

It's perhaps the most delicate and complex of photographic categories, precisely because it reveals an indisputable truth:

"Where little is everything."

It's an interplay of light and shadow that reveals the hidden beauty of everyday life.

With the absence of color, I can emphasize textures, shapes, and emotions, transforming them into an everlasting moment that will never leave any viewer, present or future, indifferent.

In each shot, I seek to capture those details that often go unnoticed, a ray of light, a hidden geometric shape, and I try to combine it with the essence of humans in their most natural state.

By eliminating color, I can focus on another way of seeing life, perhaps more leisurely, more observant, far from the current digital hustle and bustle. A languid and quiet moment well deserved, both by me and by the observer.

Photographing streets in color allows me to convey the energy and vitality of the street, so that each image is an authentic reflection of the life that unfolds within them. From the warm tones of dawn to the vibrant colors of dusk and its artificial lights.

"Photographing in color" is not the same as "photographing color." When I play with the ball of colors, I try to recreate a specific atmosphere in order to evoke certain feelings, ranging from joy to sadness, from energy to inner peace.
